Initial Report:
On 12 January 2026, Asterix The Long Firefighting Dog NPC – Fire & Emergency Support Service was notified of a large tree that had fallen across Deerpark Road near Mieliekloof Abattoir.
The fallen tree was reported to be completely obstructing the roadway, creating a serious hazard for motorists using the route.
